I once read an article about a guy who climbs the Lion’s Head every morning to take photos. Taking photos of the same landscape every day has challenged him to see the landscape in different ways than just the ordinary. Now Poskantoor Bult, just outside of Otjiwarongo has become my challenge.
Here a few photos of Otjiwarongo well after sunset from Poskantoor Bult. Though the last photo is the lightest, it was taken last but with a much longer exposure.

Finding time to visit each and every friend while we are in Windhoek, is becoming quite a challenge. The time is almost always too short and finding venues that is child friendly isn’t always as easy as it may seem.
During my last visit to Windhoek, I was without the helping hand of a dad, so I had to plan everything according to what I could manage with Mr Handsome on my own. I ended up seeing only one friend and I managed to fit that in after a photo shoot at River Crossing Lodge just outside of Windhoek.
If you are ever looking to meet up with a friend while have a drink in stunning surroundings – try River Crossing Lodge. Al and I sat outside enjoying the stunning sunset over Windhoek while catching up on each other’s lives. Not only is the views exquisite, the staff is friendly and their selection of wines are superb. So next time you need a break – try River Crossing Lodge!
