Breathing

I had a family shoot on the beach, but they were running late as one of the kids got car sick on the way there. Oh, the life of a family photographer. Normally I would be bored, but not on this morning.

I had a shot in mind, so I got out of my car, shivering from the cool mist moving over the coastal line. Armed with a cup of coffee, I set up my tripod and started shooting.

I tried a multiple amount of angles, settings.. but I think of all the shots I took, I like this one best.

I called it “breathing” as it reminds me of the reaction my warm breath has with the ice-cold air in winter.
