Collision

I love these boat cruises as it offers the chance to get closer to what our mere folks without fins and feathers will never see. Birds, whales, fish that otherwise will not be easy to spot or photograph. It is for this reason that I will take our boy onto these cruises for years to come as I still prefer the wild to anything in a cage or pool. But the environmentalist in me cannot help but wonder if all these things we do to attract the wild is good for the wild? And do we do it to help the wild or to attract people?

Food for thought but something we’ll have to think about before it is too late.

Boat leaving the Walvisbay Harbour, 2018
